We Do Not Ask for Your Personal Details
You can read everything on this website without registering or providing any details. At present there are no forms, mailing list, comments or purchases on the website. You are under no legal obligation to give us any information, and doing so is entirely your choice.
Information Collected Automatically
Server logs: As with any website, the hosting server records technical data about each visit: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time of the visit. This data is used to operate the website, keep it secure and troubleshoot problems.
Usage measurement: We use Google Analytics, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to understand which content is read and how to improve the website. It stores a cookie with a unique identifier on your device and collects the pages viewed, visit duration, device and browser type, approximate location based on your IP address and how you reached the website.
Advertising and remarketing: We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the Google Ads remarketing tag. These tools store cookies with an identifier on your device and send Meta and Google the cookie or device identifier, your IP address, browser details and the pages you visited on this website. We use this information to measure the results of our advertising and to show ads for HealthMe and Zofia’s Method to people who have visited the website, on Meta’s platforms and on Google’s advertising network. If you are logged in to a Meta or Google account, they may link this information to that account under their own privacy policies.
Fonts: The website’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, so your browser’s IP address is shared with Google when a page loads.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that your browser stores on your device. This website uses three types of cookies:
- Essential cookies: needed for the website to work properly, for example to remember your language.
- Measurement cookies: Google Analytics cookies, which stay on your device for up to two years and let us tell a first visit from a return visit.
- Advertising cookies: Meta and Google cookies used to measure advertising and to show ads to people who have visited the website. How long they are kept is set by Meta and Google.
Measurement and advertising cookies are not needed to read the content, and blocking them will not affect your browsing.
How to Opt Out of Measurement and Advertising
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Manage Google’s personalised ads on the Google Ads Settings page.
- Manage the ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in Meta’s ad preferences.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Contacting Us on WhatsApp
If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp through a link on the website, we receive your phone number, the name shown on your WhatsApp account and the content of your message. We use this information only to reply to you. WhatsApp is a Meta service, and its use is subject to Meta’s privacy policy. We recommend not including detailed medical information in your first message.
Links, Sharing and Social Media
The website includes links to our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages, share buttons and links to external sources. These are ordinary links: no information is sent through them to these services until you click them. Once you leave the website, the external service’s privacy policy applies.
Who Receives Information
We do not sell information. Information reaches only the service providers the website relies on: the website’s hosting provider; Google, for usage measurement, advertising and remarketing, and font delivery; and Meta, for advertising measurement and remarketing, and when you contact us on WhatsApp. Google and Meta process information on servers outside Israel, including in the United States, under their own policies: Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from sites and Meta’s Privacy Policy. We will also disclose information where required by law.
How Long Information Is Kept
- Google Analytics data: kept for 14 months, then deleted.
- Advertising data: advertising cookies and remarketing audience lists are kept according to Meta’s and Google’s own retention policies.
- Server logs: kept for a limited period, in line with the hosting provider’s policy.
- WhatsApp correspondence: kept only until your enquiry has been handled, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Information Security
The website is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to its administration is limited to authorised people. We take reasonable, accepted measures to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely immune to unauthorised access.
Your Rights
Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may review the information we hold about you. If it is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or out of date, you may ask us to correct or delete it. Send your request to zofia@papagay.co.il and we will reply within 30 days. Please note that we do not link measurement and advertising data to names or contact details, so we may not be able to locate it on request. You can also manage the information held by Meta or Google directly with them, using the links above. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority at Israel’s Ministry of Justice.
Changes to This Policy
If we add a service that collects personal details, such as a contact form or a mailing list, we will update this policy before it goes live. Newsletters will be sent only to people who have given explicit, separate consent. This policy may be updated from time to time, and the binding version is the one published on the website at the time you browse it.
